Hi, I have been working on swing trading plan for equities on a 30 min chart that works well when the market is trending. However, i´ve been having some troubles coming up with a way to filter the market to only allow trades when the market is trending. f.e. i tried using a 30min QQQQ chart with adx above 30 as a filter, but that didnt work well. The purpose of my thread is to initiate a discussion on what type of market filters people on ET use and to get some suggestions.
