I can remember when the financial markets (volume) were driven by 85% Retail, 15% Institutional. Then it morphed to be about 85% Institutional, 15% Retail. Now.... 56% HFT 32% Institutional 12% Retail & Other This current time also includes "Government/Fed Interventions"... Hard to imagine what we morph to next...
