Your limit might get placed at the level you requested, but it wouldn't fill since the market gapped down.
Why don't you buy a VW beetle if you can afford it and drive it in the snow. There may be some old rusty beetles in a junkyard somewhere. Be sure and take some salt with you. Oh and don't forget chains from the porch swing. LOL
I learned back in the day to drive stick (4 speed) in a VW Beetle ... in the snow. They are a blast. Not so much those cardboard box thingies unless it is just blowing surface snow.
Just like now, back then I lived on a beachfront peninsula (though I'm now 1200+ miles further south - 81° currently no polar vortex down here), so when I wasn't sliding 'em in the snow I was sliding 'em in the sand, that blew up, at the end of the beach blocks. Brake or just throttle, granted VW's were never powerful lol just enuf. My learning grounds was Jacob Riis Park parking lot, at the time the worlds largest parking lot. Worlds largest .... empty one during the winter. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jacob_Riis_Park
I had the pleasure to playfully drive this in snowy mountains in the 90's. Back traction (rwd), thin tyres and so small and lightweight that once the snow stopped the car because it touched the bottom, we picked it up, turn it around a went back the way we came from. Not the actual car in the picture, just the model and colour, Google image for reference. Fiat 126
In Mexico in high mountains they drive them with back engine cover open. I guess for better cooling. I always liked them.
We lol? I'm not a particularly big guy 6'0" 175 lbs but hard to see anyone else fitting in it with me above 5'"6 125 lbs haha But I can imagine that would be another fun one.
Were there any news events at this time? Unfortunately during periods of large volume such as news events and speeches (and sometimes when nothing particular is going on but there is a pump in volume) there is always a chance that order prices won't be respected When this happens, the order will try to fill at the best available price which can sometimes be a long way away from your stops leading to a much larger loss than expected Your best bet is to completely avoid trading near any news releases or FED speeches I hope this event doesn't knock your confidence too much, things happen!
