  1. This will prove to be interesting.

How do you get filled in amongst the heavy traffic highlighted by the delta?

Remember, if you are not in the market, you cant make money.
    As a Trader I mean.

    ticktrade,
The countdown timer is created as follows:

Draw | Annotate | enter some text | Enter | right click | Edit

then select one of the RTL tokens. %BARLEFT in this case.

Works on all chart types, time, volume, tixk etc.

    Good luck.

  3. Bolter -- do you think it possible to trade profitably simply through the raw delta divergences?

    Awesome thread, btw.

  5. I just went thru many of the videos on the Market Delta. The delta divergence on the extreme bar looks great on the "reversal" video until I saw the similar bar happens on the "trend" video (part of the trend move) . :(

Thanks bolter. I am gonna try this stuff on the ES and see if it is relevant.

Most divergent trades require at least 2 indicators for confirmations, for the simple fact that they are by definition always against the prevailing trend of price action.

My guess would be that bolter uses Market Profile if he does take divergent trades which incorporate Market Delta (I'm sure he'll be along to enlighten us shortly).

Is the IB datafeed with its batching data delivery too compromised to use with MD.

I am testing it against Esignal and there seem to be significant differences in the footprints.

    Examples attached

    jl12,
MD requires true tick data to drive it's MD and MP charts. Using IB data will severely compromise the output. You will need to pay for decent data I'm afraid.
