  1. Hey bud,
    Tried following some of your entry/exit points and some of the timing differs from what I have. E.g. trade #2;
    B 725.10 9:57
    S 732.90 11:00 7.80

725.10 level was never hit since the lod was 725.6

your exit (or reversal entry) at 732.9 but was only hit at 11:48EST (or 10:48CST) - (you musta gotten extremely lucky on fill cuz that was the hod.) :D

    Am I missing something?

  2. yes u missin' that results after da fact without trade confirmations or trails are never to be blindly trusted....if i was da guy i wud post entries/exits real time or da trails; that wud give legitimacy to his journal and prolly look less as a series of meaningless numbers impossible to confirm...but heck it is his biz and his choice, innit.

  3. Correction to previous post:

    B 726.10 9:47

    B 729.00 11:16

I jotted the prices as I placed the orders, neglecting to double check the fill sheet.

This was an extreme, crazy week. Watch me give it all back.

For those interested, let me put you on the path to discovery. The key is to break down the market into its smallest fractal. Then know which cycles are key in your market's unfolding. When multiples of these cycles point in the same direction, you know which way to go.

You need to see what everyone else sees, but not see it in the same way they do. Build on that and everything else falls into place.

  5. What a pounding the market took today. Dropped like a stone from out of the gates and never looked back. It's funny the tricks Mr. Market plays on you. Spent three years looking for a mechanical system. I developed one to my satisfaction and I still have to take the occasional discretionary trade.

    B 728.00 8:28
    S 728.60 8:32 .60

    S 727.30 8:33
    B 726.60 8:38 .70

    S 725.80 8:40
    B 726.30 8:41 -.50

    S 724.40 8:43
    B 722.20 8:48 2.20

    S 721.80 9:10
    B 711.00 14:49 10.80

    Total Trades: 5
    Winners: 4
    Losers: 1

    Total Points: 13.80

I want to be noted that the last trade was not a method trade but a discretionary one. When the $INDU drops 50 plus and $COMPX drops 10 plus within the first 10 minutes of the open, good indication of trending day. Stop was placed 1.5 points above entry .

  8. The post below explains the motives. I guess it's more of a personal journal to instill discipline in following the method.
