Market Calls

Discussion in 'Journals' started by inandlong, Apr 24, 2005.

  1. As a former moderator, I can appreciate av's sentiment. I doubt he is referring to your unique calls 'bird; rather I suppose he is commenting more on the threads that say the same thing essentially, ie., Dow looks toppy, Dow peaking?, Dow about to crash, We're going down from here, etc etc. That's why I started the narrow range and geometric patterns thread, versus posting a separate thread for each "freakin" stock. :) And.... I also don't think there would be a problem if a thread were started with a call, and it didn't turn into some battle of "who can be more witty" with the disparaging comments and who has the bigger cajones.

Regardless, your calls are welcome here.

  2. Happy Mother's day!

No biggie, my friend. But avalanched did start a thread in the "feedback" section immediately following one of my calls ( I believe TZOO). He even made reference to TZOO in his complaint, though the stock had definitely not been subject to "market calls" before me.

Anyway, I will post my "calls" here, but the market has sucked so badly recently, that I haven't anything to call!

  4. GOOG has displayed very little correlation to the market lately, so I'd be very careful in reading too much into any any relative strength or weakness this stock may exhibit...

  6. Not sure about that one. 240 likely b4 210; CME was a simple pullback from lows right to the trendline.

    That's a different animal.

    Good luck!

This is strictly a short term Volitility play I will move into profits very fast on half of the position and let the balance ride.

The best part about this trade is your Risk level can be VERY well defined above the highs and your profit level is HUGE.

There is a lot more to my analysis then this but just watch and let's see how it plays out.
