Market Bias

  1. How do you judge overall market bias? (Bullish/bearish/neutral)
    What indicators do you use?

  2. Oh boy,
You don't know what kind of a thread you started again.

  3. bump.

this jump up in the indicies just before noon EST is annoying.

Who is bidding things up? I'm still reading a bearish bias.

RSI is showing market is overbought -
    MFI is showing oversold -
    good volatility -

    afternoon selloff...?

  4. If the market is not acting the way you expect, what should you do?

  5. go cash and take a few days in aruba...

  6. bump.

no one wants to share the technicals they use to determine bias?

  7. Try the consensus inc. survey or market vane .

maybe put and call ratio or public short interest.

    lots of bias there.

  8. When Jake Bernstein calls me to get what I think about the markets, I tell him just the opposite of what I think the markets will do.

Maybe he figured it out by now to take the other side of my trades.
