Indeed, the Fed apologists populate this site as well, as hard as it is to believe. It's always a moving target with regards to their latest line of defense. We've now gotten to the point where goosing the stock market higher (which they've been doing in stealth manner for years, most people won't admit to it), but now it's seen for "the greater good" as stock prices declining = bad, stock prices up = good.
