  1. Umm, definitely have to stay away from that one.

    Just can't do the zealot thing.

    No way, no how.

  2. Timing the market, especially calling the top in a bullmarket, is a sucker's game

  4. You guys have no class.

    I don't agree with the guy about the 29% impending drop, nor do I agree with him about the need to "tithe," but I'd gather that his "tithe" is larger than the collective trading "incomes" of about half of the so-called traders here.

  5. =============
    Well certainly glad to see him early[original link comments about a week early];
    however that is in a context of Rich Dennis comment-do your own research. And some of us know tithing [Malachi 3;10] does have several predictions, but no timing is mentioned.

    And thats why some traders dont use predictions much ;
    its not about timing /predictions in trading.

    Dont confuse a high probability with infallibility;
    i found Mark Cook/interview /statement of probability helpful.:cool: :p

    And i wonder if Bill Gates is real concerned about elite opinions of the %% he is zealously giving away??

  6. Interview With Mark Cook Conducted Last Night
    Through An intermediary.

    SI: Hello Mark and thank you for coming on today.
    Well, first things first- The Prediction.

    MC: Yes. The Lord will come and swallow us whole. Repent and give.

    SI: No, no the prediction of a huge 29% correction in March.

    MC: That was March- This is April.

    SI: Does the prediction stand for April too?

    MC: I have a new one for April.

    SI: Well don't keep us in suspenders!

    MC: The market will go up 3%.

    SI: What's changed?

    MC: Well my readership is down and no one comes out to the ranch anymore, it's gotten to the point that I'm just talking to the wind.

    SI: That's sad. You're sort of in Ralph Accompora land now aren't you?

    MC: (big sigh) I guess I am....

    Well Thank You Mark Cook for agreeing to be contacted this way-- through a seance-- and we look forward to more big scary calls out of you.
