jack and the homofob's can't even leave me alone in my own thread they created for me, in an attempt to discredit me.

  2. Loser is spelled with one "O" not two, as in the sentence:

"Mark Brown is obsessed with Spydertrader because Mark is a loser."

That lesson was a freebie Mark.

  5. You, if anyone, should know how to spell "loser."

  6. That link doesnt prove that BACKTESTING IS NECESSARY FOR SUCCESS, All it shows is one man's claim that HE NEEDS IT.

Still doesnt answer your flawed logic earlier today, but like I said, there really is no way for you to answer w/o admitting that you are wrong.

Ok, I'm done for the day with miss 666, she obviously screwed the pooch and is unwilling to answer my original question.

if anyone reads jack hersheys thread below and doesn't think this man is completely NUTS! then you are nuts!

    http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=113044

this man is off his rocker and i am amazed at how people will try and please him like little puppy dogs - its mind blowing that et would put up with this unless he was paying or being paid to post. no one would ever allow this if they were sane.

    mb

i would like to settle this matter so here is what i am going to do.

have jack tell me how much and where he wants an account and i will fund both his account and mine with the same amount of money and at the same brokerage. i don't care what we trade.

when he decides what it is he wants to trade i will build a model and disclose the system in advance right and place the trades as best i can to the system signals.

after what length of time he wishes not to exceed one year the looooooooser will admit he is a looser and have his picture taken with the winner so it can be posted all over the internet.

so let me know when what and how much and we will get started.

  8. I didn't say it proves that you dimwit! Geez! Your stupidity continues to amaze me.

What it does show, is a very high likelihood that your guru is a phoney. And I defy you or any other glassy-eyed kool-aid drinker to dispute that with clear, simple comparisons like those in that post.

  9. I'm sorry, I do not see him as some sort of guru. What I do see is free information that I read, was interested in, read some more and then started performing a structured approach based on that knowledge. Not once have I ever spoken to Jack Hershey and for all I know he's a shitty trader like you all say. Who fucking cares who he is, I could care less, you know why? Because the information I have learned from him, via Spydertrader, has led me to a place where I can spot many opportunities in the market each and everyday, without fail. The only thing I care about is proper trading.

And one more thing, trading futures the way I do it is DAYTRADING ONLY, your Bill Eckhardt example is not comparable, he does something totally different.

  10. Partial quote from Mark Brown;
when he decides what it is he wants to trade i will build a model and disclose the system in advance right and place the trades as best i can to the system signals.

Are you saying that in order for a trading system to be credible, it should be possible for you (or someone else with comparable coding skills) to "build a model" of said system? Are you saying further that if a trading system can't be modelled, then it lacks credibility? Finally are you saying that backtesting is the only way to properly identify trading systems with credibility?
