Had friends in college who sold dope. They more than doubled their money invested in each pound they bought. It was very tempting, but I just had no desire to end up getting in when they got nailed. They never did get caught and probably because they never sold to anyone they didn't know. When a friend of a friend would say they have someone looking for some dope, they would only sell it to the guy they knew and he had to deal with the down the line risk of a guy they didn't know. It's kind of funny as they lived in a neighborhood where you could get killed walking at night because it was cheap, but they were rolling in cash. They were broken into twice over the years, but only a boom box and bike were stolen. When we get together now they are all amazed they didn't end up in prison. They moved quite a bit of product back then. Back then I think they were selling for $40 an ounce. Ahh, the stupid old days!
