Are you at home at the moment? Google coworking in the location you are interested in. Coworking is going exponential in London at the moment.
yes office at home. I would only want to work in an environment with other traders tbh, co working places attract too many pikers! I also need a tonne of screens and good connectivity.
I really like coworking, it is very reasonably priced. I got a 4k screen so I don't need two monitors anymore.
I hear you, for outrights I could manage with a couple of screens but not for spreading I watch the WTI & Brent curves plus some Gasoil & RBOB, 4 x 24" screens are the minimum I can work with 6 or 9 much better.
Resolution is not the issue it's screen real estate. If I have 50 ladders up doesn't matter if it's a 40k monitor.
Screen real estate IS resolution.... A 24" 1080p screen is 1920 x 1080. If you put 4 x1080p screens you're estate is 3840x2160, that's the number of pixels where you can put your 50 ladders on. If you have 1 screen that is 4K, you have 3840 x 210 pixels, or the same amount of pixels, to put your 50 ladders on. It will just be smaller but that depends on your screen's size and your eyes health.
I understand the Prop Firms and the need (for money, leverage, and even learning period) of traders to join them. It is fascinating to me. Don't take that the wrong way please. Why would anyone want to put herself in a middle of a co-working environment, when it is avoidable? Trading, specially profitable trading, is a lonely business unfortunately, which is not the case with management of other people money.
My iPhone has 1080 x 1920 resolution, I'm pretty stoked about that. But I don't have many ladders on because the screen real estate is so poor. H.
