  3. Hitman. I have been though the same. I fell in love with a beautiful intelligent women only to be dumped losing out to a guy 10 years older then me. Let me tell you something and I know you don't want to hear this, even if you get back together it won't be the same. For the next several years until she gets married she is going to fuck your head royally. Your brain will have a better chance in a cement mixer than hoping to get her full devotion. Don't be surprised to get a call from her letting you know that she is not sure about this guy and wants to see you only to later find out that she is back with him again. This process will repeat itself over and over until you will decide for yourself that it's best to let go. She has you in wing number two in the event that things fall apart and you'll be there waiting. I hope I'm wrong but I as well as my friends have all had variations of what you are going through. Hang in there you'll be stronger at the end.

Be the suckee, not the sucker, in a relationship...

The bi-sexual attraction is bi-polar, there are women out there who like you, and you will have the upper hand in the long run..

Even if you do get the quote unquote princess, you will be the sucker for the rest of your life... and once that romance and love wears off, being the sucker really sucks.

    Hitman,

Young women are like the market - there is no telling where they are going and all you can do is go along for the ride.

I will say this about your princess, she is a better trader than you. Think about it. She has a Straddle position, with you as one leg, and the other guy(s) as the other - come to think of it, this might be a Butterfly! She must have read McMillan!

I could give you a whole lot of advice on women, but it is of no use if all it is going to get applied to is the princess. Therefore, the only thing I can say is that this is the natural course of things for you - trying to change it will only make it worse, so just feel the pain and do try to go easy on yourself.

FWIW, you remind me of Romeo. In the beginning of the play, he is madly in love with some chick. There is no other. Benvolio, his friend, recommends that he find another, when he will forget all about the other. No way he says, there can be no other, she is perfection itself (better said by Shakespear.) Then, he meets Juliet, and the other chick is history.

There is a great deal of wisdom in (english) (classic) literature (or classic films, e.g., Gone Witht The Wind.) If you like to read, now is a good time to do it...(it was for me in these times like you are having now.)

PS Music is also a great source of wisdom as well (even Heavy Metal!) Go clubin and listen to the words...

My brother and one of my good friends had the same experience you are having now. My good friend (college roomate at the time) was so depressed one night that he was crying. I gave him shots of Jack until he passed out (always the best cure for any ailment :) ). Next semester, he came home so wasted that he almost choked to death on his own vomit. If I hadn't heard him gurgling...I don't know what would've happened. All because of some girl. Same story with my brother. My brother and my friend are much better because they've moved on. A loss is a loss, whether in life or in trading. Be a man, take the loss and keep the capital in rotation. Puff...puff...give dude. Don't fuck up the rotation!

  9. Life can be a comedy or a tragedy, the choice is yours. Keep the following in mind:

The key to comedy is overcoming that moral flaw and having the happy ending. Just like trading it is up to us to turn our losing ways to winning ways. Live the comedy.

  10. If you do decide to move on (which I know you won't) you've got to watch the movie "Swingers." It's about friends helping another get over a break-up...

But then again, all they do is go to parties, drink, smoke and pick up chicks...without much focus on careers.

ah, f*** it. Watch the Sopranos and Wall Street and create those megalomania visions of destiny.
