How many Championships in the last 11 years?

    Oh yeah, that's right, zero!!!!!!!!

    LMAO.

I didn't say they were overrated in the 70's when they won most of their championships. Just the last decade this has been a very overrated program. You can't deny that. And tonight is more proof of the same. What an ugly game.

  7. Mav, you continue to display your ignorance of sports. UCLA was rated #7 in the country, to get to a finals is hardly overrated.

No one was picking UCLA to go to the Championship game this year at the start of the season, or even before the tournament. Hell, even Bruin fans were going to be happy just to get to the Sweet 16, after the misery of Lavin. This loss will keep Howland's kids in school for another year, help him to recruit, and continue to turn the program back in the right direction.

Frankly, I haven't see a great team in college basketball for a long time. UCLA was lucky to be here, and if not for a Gonzaga choke job, they would be home watching.

Imagine if kids didn't leave school early? King James would be playing for Ohio State, Amare Stoudamire would be playing for Kentucky, etc.

We don't see great teams, so the tournament is now just a real tossup. UConn was my pick, great players, but missing a fundamental team nature, so they got beat.

Some people like that, a March madness. I miss the greatness of teams with players that were great and played together for years, like UNLV, a great team, really great team. Great teams like UNLV the year they won dominate, they don't struggle. Nearly every team in the tournament struggled at some point.

We didn't see greatness tonight. We saw the better team win tonight, but seriously, this was not great basketball. USC blew out UCLA this year, and Billy Donavon watched those films, and followed the same game plan to stretch out the UCLA defense...the same thing Tim Floyd did when USC creamed UCLA this year.

So now, shall we talk about the Bears and their impending collapse in the playoffs again, this upcoming season?

    Hee...hee...hee....

    Oh yeah!

Hey, it is nice for Florida to have a championship in anything, even college basketball. They need something besides neck car.....

What about all the championships from the Hurricanes, Seminoles, Dolphins, Buccaneers, Marlins, etc? Seems like you left a few out. LOL.

Bears? You mean you don't want to talk about how the WSox annihilated the Indians on opening day. Or the Cubs 16 runs today? There is plenty to talk about Z before we get to the Bears. :D :D :D

And you are wrong about Florida not being a great team. They won the SEC Championship, set a school record for best ever start in history (18-0) and Noah tonight set a NCAA tournament record 26 blocks and then of course the NCAA title. This team could compete against any team in history. They are very balanced. This is probably as complete a team we have had in the NCAA since Duke in 92. Florida is a very unselfish team with 5 starters averaging in double figures in scoring and one of the best assist to turnover ratios by all 5 starters in the history of the game. No, this is a great team and they will only be better next year.

  9. Oh yeah, forgot about the fish.

I can see why you wouldn't want to talk about da Bears....

Florida is not a great team.

They are the NCAA Champions this year, but not a great team.

The way some people throw around the word great...makes it meaningless.....

North Carolina was a better team last year, no question.
