  3. So.. what the fuck happened over at Mara today?

Earnings was supposed to be on the 12th... what wasn't priced in for today's drop? ~13.5% sure beats everyone else for the downside.

I had been hoping for this to happen to BitDeer this morning... instead it ripped to the upside due to earnings report.

    Zacj346 and wxytrader like this.
  6. My latest MARA trade. I needed some beer money for tonight so I sold atm. :)

    MARA sell 5 Jan31 calls @ 20 for 2.35

    Book value: $12,500
    Contract value: $10,000
    Premium: $1175
    Net: -$1325

    If expires itm:
    Total premium: $4590
    Total stock pnl: -$1780
    NAV: $2810

    If expires otm:
    Total premium: $4590
    Total stock pnl: $720
    NAV: $5310

    @deaddog
NAV is irrelevant...let it sort itself out in the wash. The goal is keep the premium coming in. You may recall I originally coined this the Hulk strategy back in 2021 before it became popular with high yield ETFs. :)

  9. Sell to Open Uncovered MARA 01/31/25 20.00 PUT: US 5 5 0 4.05 4.05 Dec 31, 2024 02:45 PM ET Filled

So price was between 17-18...even better! Obviously I am selling at the bid lol...whatever it is at the time...and the bid is determined by supply and demand so you can't really over pay or under sell technically...not in a liquid market.
