Six of the eleven. Clarence Thomas is also the circuit justice for the 11th. In DT's 4yrs he appointed 30% of the federal bench. A greater pace than Obama in his 8 but 1 short of beating Obama's total. Judge Dearie has a good reputation which is a silver lining to this cloud. So far the major criticism has been suspicions as to why team trump chose him. https://www.politico.com/news/2022/09/12/trump-judges-mar-a-lago-courts-00056071
son of a bitch..... yeah, the Reagan appointee was also agreed on by the DOJ so let's hope he's got a cold war ice to grind.
I imagine TFG will spin this politically since Dearie was one of the judges to sign off on the FISA warrant to surveil Carter Page. If Dearie doesn't rule in TFG's favor, despite TFG's suggesting of him as one of the picks for SM, most likely he'll claim that the whole system is corrupt and rally his diehard loyalists to act violently. The 11th circuit also sets up an appeal to the Supreme Court. Despite the ad hominum generally used to describe TRG, he is quite schrewd in this political chess game. He does have a high EQ as evident in the blind loyalists unshakable devotion. When I can detached enough, it's fascinating to witness. All the scandals that he is at the center of that would have destroyed any ordinary politician, he's been able to rebound from. If only he was a unifier instead of a divider, but then again, his role as a villian has unified many to opposed his worst tendencies.
