2020, this map is old. Because of COVID-19 and Mayor de Blasio's policy of releasing criminals from Rikers Island, crime has doubled from 2020. Crime events have gone through the roof, from pushing people into moving subway trains or under them, throwing bleach into the face of a cop and a Molotov cocktail at other cops, to stabbings, to armed robberies. New York City has also become an eyesore because of the scaffolding on numerous buildings which have been there for years, if not decades. Furthermore, because of COVID-19 and de Blasio's shutdown policy, many of the businesses have been closed and plywood boards are on the windows. Many upper class residents of New York City have left and gone to Florida or Texas where there is no state income tax and much lower crime. People no longer need to live in New York City because the Internet allows them to live anywhere they wish.
People never needed to live there in the first place. I grew up in that area. It was more fun when Times Square was the squalor with the seedy sex shops and underground clubs. But you never needed to LIVE there. Only fools thought they did, like the art fags. Just incredible.
