She is a great girl, one issue which maybe a problem is she wants to be the alpha. I had to break up couple of fights that were starting to get too agressive. So far today they seem to be normal play fighting. I am hoping they get along.
She looks like a black lab or mix. I have a sweet old black lab mix that turned 13 years old this year. She has been one of the easiest and sweetest dogs I have ever had the pleasure of living with. Sadly she will not be with me very much longer due to age. I would 100% open my arms to another lab/lab mix again.
If you are willing to travel that beautiful little girl will be available, but she is in Wisconsin. She's a puppy, and more of an alpha personality and our current best friend had enough on 3 occassions. The lady who runs the facility had me bring her back in. It was a foster to hopefully adopt, but I honestly was worried one or both were going to hurt the other. When we were outside she kept getting in our dog's face and biting(trying to play I think), and he had enough and slammed her to the ground and went for her neck. She didn't back off and came right back at him. I had to physically take them apart as I couldn't be sure it wouldn't get worse. The other problem was our guy quit eating. He hadn't eaten more than a handful of food in 2.5 days, so I would say he was stressed. They would fight when we would start out for a walk, but then she would tag along for most of the rest of the walk, so I was hopeful, but the 3rd incident outside I decided the lady running the rescue was right and I brought her back. I have to say it was about the same feeling as losing your long term buddy. She gave me a bunch of kisses and was off to see the other dogs there. I had to take a few minutes to get composed after getting back in the van. She is a sweetheart and fun, and it really sucks I couldn't figure out how to make it work.
haahhaaha It don't work that way. Just trust me on that one. Omg... he is human after all. Exact same boat. Go for 15. We got to.
Sadly I have a 2 year old Fiest/blackmouth curr female dog that thinks she's the "big girl" of the family. I can't leave her alone with the old girl and she would probably not do well with a new female dog with the same idea. I will likely get a male lab dog that she could get along with.
Cripes, I just killed an hour of trading setting up a time to see another pooch. I blame Baron, that picture fired me up to get looking again after our last couple frustrating experiences.
