There's by no means a legal consensus about what constitutional remedies there are, if any, to a sitting President's ability to pardon. About the only remedy is political - impeachment. And Trump probably would get impeached for it. But the pardons would stay. https://www.brookings.edu/opinions/...ers-feel-betrayed-by-his-pardon-of-marc-rich/ https://www.npr.org/2016/11/01/5002...es-files-on-bill-clintons-pardon-of-marc-rich https://www.nbcnews.com/think/opini...ueller-targets-can-anyone-stop-him-ncna815861 "If Trump Tries to Pardon Mueller Targets, Can Anyone Stop Him? Legally, Trump can pardon pretty much anyone he wants to for federal crimes."
She was being invetigated for over 30 years and nothing was found. I think 30 years is good enough of a stretch. She has so many enemies that if she did even anything remotely illegal it would come up by now for sure. Stop watching right wing media.
Mueller did refer the charges against Cohen to the SDNY. Lanny Davis, Cohen’s attorney is representing that Mueller didn’t pursue any plea deal with Cohen and just let the SDNY pursue the case as it stood. Now Lanny is on tv saying Cohen wants to sing show tunes. Mueller must tired of all of this winning. As to Manafort, I refer you back to the Rosenstein memo I posted for your review. “Any matters that arose or arise” Mueller can pursue and he probably sees Manafort as having key insight into the Russian side of things and it is only right to squeeze the hell out him.
There’s so many witches, though. The best witches. Anyone tired of all of the (Mueller) winning yet? The convicted criminals are piling up.
Ahhh no Lanny. And it was not a crime for Cohen either. But the feds offered a package deal where he could get a reduction in sentencing if he did not go to trial on any of the charges and he took it. Return to servicing Hillary, the only thing you do well. Yuck.
