I am sure some of you have heard of Benjamin Graham. "At only six years old, Buffett purchased 6-packs of Coca Cola from his grandfather's grocery store for twenty five cents and resold each of the bottles for a nickel, pocketing a five cent profit. While other children his age were playing hopscotch and jacks, Warren was making money. Five years later, Buffett took his step into the world of high finance. Looks like this guys whole life has been money, money, money. He seems to spend or give very little of it though.
Its also called being a CHEAPSKATE. Why would a multi billionaire who is worth more than (HUGH HEFNER+ DONALD TRUMP+ LARRY ELLISON ) combined lives in a house worth 900,000 ? Doesn't own a cell phone and drives his own second hand Buick Electra ? Is he Jewish?
He is a cheapskate. He is living in a place where people can walk up knock on his door and shoo a gun in his face. That is really smart isn't it?
i still think its all a front for the shareholders/media/public. he's a crafty old dude for sure. surf
Maybe you should make him a little checklist of how specifically he should be spending *his* money. Do you also go tell your neighbors and friends how to spend their money and comment on it?
Once you have reached the lifestyle that you are comfortable with, then any money beyond that point is merely a safety net so that you never fall below the lifestyle that you prefer. For you to suggest that all people share your concept of a great lifestyle is idiotic.
