Bugs, I did work for the department of justice, as a corrections officer, for nearly a decade. I worked hard at always and only evaluating a person based on their behavior, here and now, and not on their skin color (or history). In light of that maybe you can understand why I am so vehement about my opinion on skin color. Of course, I believe I understand your position; I'm aware that others are not so determined as I am; I'll never win my "war".
No wonder you are so anti white, all that DOJ brain washing. The DOJ where cases with non white offenders and white victims are "not popular". Where lawyers who want a race neutral policy have to resign... http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/o...ver-black-panthers-stonewalling-94202249.html
Not even the same thing. In a theater you are paying to see a product and bring in a camera is an attempt to use or distibute that product at a later period of time. Filming a public official speaking about public matters does not even come close to being in the same catagory as filming a movie. No "product" is being taken away from a place of business in this instance. And just for your information...a policy does not override the law. Just because its the churches policy to punch people in the face for not leaving, doesnt mean those guys are not going to jail.
Ejection? ok. Assault? Not ok, no matter what environment. Someone who supposedly used to work in the department of justice should be aware of this not so fine line separating the two.
Working for the DOJ is a perfect explanation for WHY he doesn't know the difference. Go figure, a communist thug working for the DOJ. Big surprise there huh?? LOL!!
Actually, it is a fine line. Many people cry "assault" when ordinary joint locks are used on them. At any rate, you are right, a punch is an assault. So the perp may spend a day or three in remand, but he's not "going to jail".
http://legal-dictionary.thefreedictionary.com/assault At Common Law, an intentional act by one person that creates an apprehension in another of an imminent harmful or offensive contact.
if you have a rule against filming thats fine. escort the person out with your two tough guys. punching in the face, or any other assault is simply not excusable.
