I don't know if the accusations are true, but it does look like they will be proven so. The problem i have with this guy, assuming the allegations are proven, is not that he is gay, not that he used crystal meth, nor that he must have been cheating on his wife --those are all personal issues. But, as far as i'm concerned, his hypocrisy would be the "real" crime. I look on the male prostitute who exposed Haggard's hypocrisy as a hero of sorts, saving, as it were, Haggard's minions from further lies. It is also refreshing to hear the honest admission from the prostitute that his motivation for exposing his liason was political. Again, assuming the allegations to be proven correct, here is a seemingly ironic case of the one reviled by society, i.e., the gay, male prostitute, being the more honest, and therefore more worthy of respect, and his dishonest paramour, formerly held up to society as a paragon of virtue, being, in reality, least worthy of respect.

There have been some reports that the gay hooker failed the lie detector but based on the terrible job trying to lie his way out of it the pastor is very guilty in my ipinion.
