Making money from Hurricane Sandy

  3. You are nice , Superstrom can not blown away crude of humans. Much of traders try to get huge profit in this time. This time every one should help to refugees.

  4. first of all the why doesn't matter - your clearing firm pays you on price alone

    with that being said here are a couple of explanations...

    1. demand destruction (refineries closed, airlines grounded, no one traveling via car to work, etc)

    2. supplies at/near historic highs

    3. continued slow econ growth, europe worries, blah blah blah

  6. Crude goes up during Gulf Coast hurricanes because we make it here. Not much offshore drilling in the wake of a NY storm.
