I'm just wondering where the oft-mentioned, before last year that is, "Trading Goddess" is? The same TG that saved his fund and from all accounts is the REAL trader in the family. Judging from his flirting, and bimbos that "think he is so sexy" and "want to go pimpin' with him," (barf) I suspect she's not around much anymore. Hope she cleans him out. He is an embarrasment to anybody that takes investing/trading seriously. And I agree with the other posters - Mad Money is not watchable (or at least not listen-able) by any sane person...
Surrounded by skanks. He asked for homies and got homlies, by mistake. His wife? Maybe thats why he's acting out so badly these days. Notangitis. Can I have a show where I pick 1000 stocks, and get to cherry pick the winners, and mention a loser now and then to make it look good? I mean if you make a case for 1000 names, in a bull market (yes, many stocks are in full bull mode), then you'll have at lease 100-150 screaming winners using a freaking dart. Sound familiar?
In the beginnig he was all mellow and professional and kinda nonchalant about his book.... but just like the cuckoo for cocoa puffs bird that can't contain himself when the kids slide a bowel of cereal to him... so is Jim Cramer when some one mentions his book. Now he goes nuts and grabs the book then throws it. "the book...the book.... holy cow the book"
I do not have a bias really, just honest to say his show is nothing different than Money Magazine or Kiplinger's except he screams and yells and throws chairs to get ratings. He caters to those of Suze Orman's level of investing intelligence- IRA holders who go long stock or individual investors looking to grow their $10,000 portfolio. More power to him if he is actually forcing investors to do some homework and educate themselves. You forget that being in TV means your motivation is completely different. Ratings is the only thing that counts. The network will keep him on as long as he has viewers so he must keep up the act. Me sitting there calmly and saying Go long SPX this week will get no viewers even if I am right all the time.
Yeah but Mary from Indiana who is 47 and loves screaming Boo-ya on the phone will get bored very quickly. So will Vinnie from Brooklyn. I think Cramer's audience has many things in common with the people who watch Suze Orman or Ultimate FIghting Champion lol...
cramer has some good calls but has had a long string of painful blowups recently. net result = less than s&p returns. zz bol msft ffiv unh thi intc yhoo lu
