If this is true, then my last DD that I posted some seconds after you posted your post, then my DD was partially true. -> If bar 4's close had been inside the LAT BUT its leg 3 had been the same as it is here, retro would also be activated, onwards. There is just something a bit curious I see in what is said here, as retro really echoes to the past, not onwards. Strange for the now in my mind, but it's ok, thank you for that help @Simples !
I've just reread this. The capital "P" for Position column solves the following : I was gonna say I feel stupid, but I should rather say I'm doing big efforts currently that make me overwhelmed a bit, so I miss some easy and obvious signs. I apologize for that even though I understand myself.
Retro has been described by Jack as a third failsafe. To understand why, I think one needs to see what happens with OOE within Lats with Retro.
No, and that's what I see now I don't know yet if I'm ok with the retro action, but anyway I just feel like "I hope there will be plenty of Lats (and even Lat inside Lat !) in the next charts; henceforth, I see them as quite interesting and exciting to log. Don't ask why ^^
could not be better served ^^ I had to face a Lat into a Lat. I tried to guess how this works on the log.
Looks like you are getting the hang of it. As you annotate & log, you are experiencing the magic of the EE’s that are not FS’s giving a ‘tell’ a bar or two ahead of a market turn. The FS’s do as well but require more fine tuning during RTH on the HRE. With retro and the chart & log, it’s useful to annotate in a way that captures the retro process. If you look at my latest chart and logs on the 10 case thread, it’ll be clearer what I mean. Figure out something that works for you. From where you are, you can start degapping the day’s close to the next day’s open. You’ll need to screen capture the end of one day so that you can offset your browser window and line up the open. Before starting your next chart and logs, always debrief the one you just completed to find EE’s missed, missed ID’d, and other distinctions that have been discussed but not applied. Have a sheet that has a list of running questions you have with the corresponding date and bar#. You have the tools by which to find your own answers, congrats.
MADA and log on 04/01/19 I feel like there's no sense to label an A-band EE when a FS EE is present on current bar.
Ups.... I just posted on 04/01/19 before seeing you had answered. Sorry, thank you for the advice ! Thank you very much, you're to be congratulated too.
