    Btw,

I also keep working silently on MADA routine. I do log and annotated chart(s) everyday.

The following is a database based upon my last 40 Logs and Annotated Charts. So far, I have made 76 fully completed logs and annotated Charts.
I was lazy so I only made that stat on the last 40 sessions, and skipped the first 36.

    stat.png

So globally I find 1 EE each 2 bars; 75% of them are FS, 18% are PP!s, etc.
My average number of EEs IDd on one session is 39+.

My global and detailed understanding of the FCC1 and the 9 others is nicely increasing.

Actively reading, taking note, deciphering and digging up @Sprout 's edited and condensed Exact Science thread that I just printed; also extending and adding volume snippets to the FCC1 and logging every day. 80th log today; stats on EE's families will be based upon last 45s.

I 'll post when something interesting is accomplished or when question(s) arise.

  4. Interesting thread, @WchPl

Are you currently just studying/logging/back checking these ideas or are you actually trading as well? If not - when do you plan on start trading?

    Thanks.

    You are welcome.

Currently, and to be precise, I am studdying and logging every day on the RDBMS method and all the requirements around it, in order to start trading and extract the full offer of the market. The routine would be knock down around 4 times the ATR each day, as an average rythm.

I plan on start trading ASA I will know that I know that I am ready to extract the full offer. I might add as a precision to what I just said, that I know I will know that I know that I'm ready, once my understanding and handling of the 9+1 flow charts cycles will be paired with my understanding and handling of the instruments (YM 1 and 2min, OTR, DOM, T&S, 30minES)+PRV, all merged with my current level of inference on RDBMS. Once this is accomplished, I will log in demo real time around 15/20 sessions, and then will make the dive.

I cannot tell when this will be, but my anticipation would say from today, a couple of months or so. That's what I feel.

It is no more nor less than JHing.

    In other words, JH being.
It'll be done. Thank you ;)

Based on my last 45 sessions out of 81.

    last 45.png

Update : I am about to have the instruments on my display. I will then continue with them ASA I have the possibility to drill up and down from coarse to fine view, and switch from EOB orientation to intrabar's.
My study on flow chart cycles was a support for from where I was in November, just after "graduate navigational school". If I had had the possibility at this point in time, to buy the datas and the instruments, "we would have continued with the instruments", which are the next pieces.
Once, coupled with my RDBMS' and inference's levels, I will handle the instruments, I suspect the study of the flow charts not to be unuseful, but not decisive for taking the full offer being as I am where I am now.
@Sprout , please feel free to stop me if I'm wrong, but what I understand is that by merging my RDBMS level with the comprehension and usage of the instruments (YM, T&S, OTR, DOM, PRV ..), I will be able and have all the necessary to be kept on the right side of the market at each and any time. I incorporate into this, the IF1/IF2 APA that I already handle.
As I see it, of course the big dive in question would be after a serie of 15/20 live demo sessions "in the cokpit of the plane, seeing all control instruments in real time".
From what I understand, the study of the flow chharts was a support, a temporary help, a way of feeding my whole comprehension BEING AS I could not have the instruments available.
As this is about to be remedied, I see the study and usage of the instruments, the next (and last) priority.
I'm not searching for any rush, just trying to ubicate myself from my POV, from what has been said to me and from how I did understand it. I am expressing where I think that I am, and where I have to go now. @Sprout , any precision about my POV on myself is welcome :)

    Hope you're doing great !

Think of your approach thus far with SCT and RDBMS as bookends and Cycle Trading as the "in-between"

Working through the logging of Cycles 1,2,3 will create intrabar differentiation and more feelings of confidence, comfort and support.

Of your list, there is one instrument (YM) the others are tools and those tools generate 'signals'

As you work through the cycles and the nodes of the flowchart is will essentially 'build the mind' in areas where you still have uncertainty and doubt.

You'll be filling in a log that is specific to cycle trading as well as understanding more distinctions around the Doji and sentiment change between continuation (retraces) and change (reversals).

Cycle trading is not temporary, it builds LTM and increases one's expertise.

You have a work-around with the bar color coding to auto-annotate price cases for TradingView. You need to get the PRV up and running pronto.

By understanding cycle trading, you'll see how RDBMS came about as a logical progression.

It's supportive that you have a binder of just the illustrations and an index of them as you work through the thread printout. That combined with large scale flowcharts that you update, will form the necessary associations. You have most of the pieces, continue to "put the pieces together".

1 : the most important : all the necessary and required as exposed in your quoted post, will be, as always (and is already beeing), be done.

2 - I asked what I asked being as when JH talked about RDBMS, I never read from him anything related to any flow chart study. I have always seen and read that once one can ID any PC, do the VTP, locate and detect EE's, use the MT/MR tables and have its three arrows on the right side of the log, one would "be a millionaire fairly soon". I am already at this level of mastering.
But I notice if at each EE I locate, I enter = reverse, I am not necessarily profitable at the end of each session. I am even not talking about taking 3 to 6x the ATR.
I am, then, not surprised that something is to be studied additionally. I may have missed or misunderstood his words.
After RDBMS purely speaking, I've only heard about the YM and the tools. I understand now their utility.
The only thing that keeps resoning inside my mind is : why was he saying "those three arrows will make you a .... fairly soon" if something else is necessary too ?
I am not asking the question, I am informing about what I'm wondering about.

3- I know with JH the reward is the journey. Now the question is : would anyone enter into this journey with no will of....taking the full offer of the market ?
Except for someone already very rich, or considerating this journey as a hobby, or something like this, I assume no one ever could.
    And I don't.
So, yes I understand the reward is the journey AND I don't want to rush to any destination faster.

    AND
And this last AND is the most crucial one : so, AND, my main goal is of course, being able ASAP to knock down 3x to 6x the ATR each day.
I have always been clear with myself about this.
Of course, I know that when I'll be trading every day and knocking down multi ATR, I will increase my expertise. I'll love that ! Sincerly, cause I can feel already that some points could be honed and all that stuff is really orgasmic sometimes. With that said, do I want to hone everything before beginning to trade ?
-> for the items that are decisive requirements, YES of course
-> for the items that are just a "you know something more that increases your whole comprehension but it does not affect concretely your profitability" : well, at the point I am today, NO. It is important for me to say it. In the past, I used to say I wanted to know everything at the perfection about the system. That was because I thought i was a necessary requirement for reaching the multi ATR each day. I understand today and since long time now, it's not like that. There is a quantuum, well a threshold that, once reached, makes one able to take the full offer at a more or less high degree of precision (carving turns). I am searching for that threshold. That said, once I'll be above that threshold, will I care if instead of taking (lets say the ATR is 20) 80pts in a session, my expertise only leads me to extract 74.25pts due to my capacity to carve turns ? Lol.. NEVER. I prefer this honing to be done once in live, with time. It's logical.

I am exposing those three points because, as a reversed synthesis :

1- I want to increase my competences as long as it is necessary for making me pass from a "you can NOT trade yet and take a multi ATR each day" to a "you CAN do it" state.
2- I have been suprised to see that beyond price cases, VTP, EE's, MT/MR, arrows and tools, there is again something new to add if I want to be operationnal (being operational for me is as an example : the full offer is 85pts, I extract 79.5, the full offer is 48, I extract 42.75, the full offer is 102.75 I extract 91.5, etc..)
3- My goal is to be operational.

As a conclusion : I am actively working on the flow charts folloing the methodology you generously exposed, and actively checking my mail waiting for Tradovate to confirm I can fund my account with 250$ and buy data feed, so that I'll be able to study the flow charts and the tools together.
    Thank you @Sprout !
