Of course you are right. Obviously, as the Germans would say, Er hat nicht alle Tassen im Schrank. ( he doesn't have all his cups in the cabinet). I'll admit i am easily suckered into this stuff. I need to reform and follow your excellent advice.
The lunacy in this thread is bad enough. Dont encourage it to get worse. We'll revisit this post in the coming years. I'm afraid you are going to find out you've set the bar for being dead wrong on so many levels.
This is pretty accurate, but I do write to the American government. Below is a link to a letter I submitted to the American Ambassador in the United Kingdom. http://morganisteconomics.blogspot.com/2021/07/letter-to-american-ambassador-to-united.html
You mock me but one of my books is on the list of resources for the 'Euro' at the Euuropean University Institute, which is granted a special license to hold Europen Union official documentation. See the link below. https://www.eui.eu/Research/Library/ResearchGuides/Economics/Eurozone
Unless you can direct me to a specific programme that will cost a certain amount of money then I stand on the position that the funds put into the economy merely only cover the loss of income the Coronavirus caused, which means it is not a stimulus package put a compensation package. Therefore the effects of a stimulus package are not there.
So, far i have been proven correct on matters of the economy. (see current corporate earnings and mkt response). But i agree, we will have to await the test of time to see how my predictions for the next three years pan out. I have been horribly wrong in the past, if that's any comfort. Said Trump could never get elected by ridiculing his Republican rivals. I can't think of anything I've been more wrong about than that!! Also said that AOC had a great political career ahead of her. May be president one day. Will have to wait a long time to see if that pans out. I'll be dead by then, but save this post for me and pull it up in twenty years.
You'll get a lovely response back on Embassy letterhead. Don't forget to glue it into your scrapbook.
In the case of the United Kingdom they used the work, so if my writing to people improves economic policy so economic targets can be hit and efficiencies can be made it is worth me doing it. Letters are evidence of this, also to be able to include letters in published work you have to get the writer's permission and if it is a politician you have to get the approval of parliament then you have to include a declaration of approval and a license to publish. To be able to publish a book that has this kind of contents you have to get approval from the specific government department, then you have to make another declaration in the publication. So it is not easy to get it.
