IMO: I don't think people take into account that how a body reacts to the virus, is a matter of your genetics. So basically, it's the luck of the draw. Survivors didn't survive because they had natural antibodies; Survivors get natural antibodies because their genetics were such that, they were able to defeat the virus ... and the RESULTS were natural antibodies. The luck of the draw. A lot of people are gambling, and don't even know it.
What? You are ignoring that fact the CDC said 96% of the people admitted to ICUs had low vitamin D... and in this study had low vitamin D and the a large amount of the asymptomatics had high vitamin D? https://www.nature.com/articles/s41598-020-77093-z you are ignoring that many of the high risk put themselves in the category through diet and lack exercise. this is not just about genetics... for many people. for some its age related and some are born diabetic or with compromised immune systems... but many of the high risk have done it to themselves.
Do you accept, that even healthy people with the right amount of Vit. D in them, and that exercise the right way, for the right amount of time, at the right frequency, can STILL die from COVID?
Healthy young people have virtually ZERO chance of dying with covid. 300 people under the age of 19 died with china cold since day 1. That’s in a cohort of 75 MILLION. Almost EVERY SINGLE ONE of those were sick or had some serious comorb. I’d say it’s zero. China Cold is a disease for the old, sick and fat. Get healthy, exercise, take your vitamins…
Tell that to all the families of dead children who were perfectly healthy until they caught COVID. Including the 5 year old who died in Georgia recently.
There are plenty of cases where the healthy were stricken. Sometimes you just gotta let people pop Vit. D, and freebase ivermectin, while shining light up their ass, and sipping bleach shaken with ice (not stirred).
But it is so painful telling them that it is too late for the vaccine to help them when you are putting them on a ventilator.
I imagine it would be for someone with empathy and compassion, BUT ... that is the job. Others deserve those feelings, not people making decisions to not become vaccinated. The person about to be ventilated is not there due to the worker's fault.
Young Healthy people die from the flu and lightening strikes too. Wear I live last time I checked 2 people under 19 died from Covid out of millions of people. Yet facists would not treat them if they needed treatment and if not vaccinated.
If you had a 1 in 1,000 chance of getting struck by lightening over five years, but it goes to 1 in 100,000 if you take a vaccine, would you take it? Say the vaccine had a one in a million chance of seriously injuring/killing you by itself.
