Canadian authorities have broken up what is being described as a "major terrorist attack" that may have included targets there and in New York.

The RCMP have arrested two people in connection with a homegrown terror plot to derail a New York-to-Toronto passenger train on the Canadian side of the border, CTV News has learned.
The suspects, one in Montreal and one in Toronto, were arrested Monday morning and “will face criminal charges,” reported CTV’s Ottawa Bureau Chief Robert Fife.
“I am told that the two people who have been arrested, they are linked somehow to al Qaeda,” Fife reported Monday afternoon.

The investigation was part of a cross-border operation involving Canadian law enforcement agencies, the FBI and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

  2. Looks like the religion of peace is working O.T.

  3. "One of the plots uncovered by the RCMP and other agencies was a planned bombing of a passenger train on the bridge that connects Canada and the United States at Niagara Falls, a police source says."

    Yikes....

I wonder if this one was an FBI planned attack or an Al Qaeda planned attack?

The aircraft in the photo related to this terror plot is really odd looking. It appears to be a single engine turbo-prop but is huge for a single engine plane. Take a look at the picture.
