Maine came up with the idea of requiring some folks in SNAP to work 20 hours week, meet volunteering requirements or take job training. They applied this to all the non-disabled, dependent-free parasi. . .errr. . .people that had been in the program more than three months. ~80% of them promptly dropped out:

A Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) spokesman tells the Associated Press that 12,000 non-disabled adults were in Maine’s SNAP program before Jan. 1 - a number that dropped to 2,680 by the end of March.

The new rules prevent adults who are not disabled and do not have dependents from receiving food stamps for more than three months - unless they work at least 20 hours a week, participate in a work-training program or meet volunteering requirements.

No mention was made of how many libtard heads exploded with rage, nor when the DOJ would begin the discrimination investigation.

Either that or they will give you the b.s. that there is very little waste or fraud in these programs, and that it would cost more to monitor it than it is worth.

Such a horrible decision. As the esteemed economist Nancy Pelosi noted, "every dollar spent on food stamps generates a $1.84 in economic production". bwahahahahahahahahahaha
