It is interesting that the milk cartel in Canada has a huge campaign going opposing the importation of milk associated with TPP. They have daily page large ads in papers, on TV, and all over the internet opposing changing the existing Canadian milk system. http://www.torontosun.com/2015/07/10/canadians-milked-by-dairy-quotes http://business.financialpost.com/n...cific-partnership-we-could-go-out-of-business
Battle Lines Form in the Fight Over Social Security Payment Reductions http://finance.yahoo.com/news/battle-lines-form-fight-over-101500256.html
I'm against the TPP and eliminating country of origin labels. But the Canadian milk cartel is ridiculous. It's just a bunch of fag farmers who buy off politicians who apply quotas to milk production, so only a handful of farmers can sell milk (at a stupidly high price). It's a scheme. No different then the mafia. Canadians are too fucking stupid to figure it out. I think the way the federal electoral boundaries are drawn, rural canada (farmers) have big pull in elections , so politicians buy them off with this nonsense. Its really criminal. I pay roughly 4 dollars a gallon for milk. Roughly a pound of cheese now costs 7 dollars.
Unemployment is higher than official estimates (they're cooking the books!) when the numbers are released, but the same numbers are correct when it's time to evaluate work requirements for food stamps! Most states waiving work requirements for food stamps, despite improving job market By Brooke Singman Published August 06, 2015 FoxNews.com "Most states still are waiving work requirements for those on food stamps, raising concerns that despite an improving job market the Obama administration is feeding government dependency -- and all at the expense of taxpayers. "Forty-four of the 50 states have to some degree eased work requirements for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), also known as food stamps: 30 states grant waivers state-wide, while another 14 issue partial waivers in areas of high unemployment. "The explosion of enrollment on SNAP of able-bodied adults without requiring work is a recipe for long-term dependency, and is hurting the country's economic recovery," said Senior Fellow at the Foundation for Government Accountability (FGA) Josh Archambault, whose group obtained the numbers. "Supporters of waiving work requirements counter that there still aren't enough jobs out there. "Work requirements are the wrong diagnoses for the wrong problem," Joel Berg, executive director of the New York Coalition Against Hunger, told Fox News. "States should have the greatest flexibility possible to help people move into living-wage work. Having 'one size fits all' cut-offs will make it more difficult for people to get and keep work." how bout, "I don't give a shit what you do. I'm a liberterian. If you want to sit on the couch and blow your brains out with dope that's your choice. But before I destroy you with my capitalism, I at least want to make sure you aren't fighting hungry. I want to beat you fair and square."
I never really liked that "Kill the buffalo food source to wipe out the Indians" policy, and I don't like that "Eliminate food stamps to eliminate the poor" policy either
I just chuckle at the internal, self-serving contradictions. Like, "inflation is much higher than the (cooked books) official numbers!" when we're discussing the state of the economy and the Fed, but, "inflation is overstated!" when we're discussing chained CPI.

We call for the repeal of the income tax, the abolishment of the Internal Revenue Service and all federal programs and services not required under the U.S. Constitution. We oppose any legal requirements forcing employers to serve as tax collectors. Government should not incur debt, which burdens future generations without their consent. We support the passage of a "Balanced Budget Amendment" to the U.S. Constitution, provided that the budget is balanced exclusively by cutting expenditures, and not by raising taxes.
