Guys forget about violent revolution! Life in America is still on top of the World despite the crisis. As long as people's basic needs, food, shelter,etc are satisfied, they do not risk everything to join a rebellion.
They wouldn't need to risk everything, they'd fucking outnumber the military and would probably be able to throw out the government if they got angry enough.
