No, I would have wanted to invoke the 25th Amendment.

    I wish I could believe you, but;
Your political posts here seem to be mostly in lockstep with Trump's dogma.

Just because someone is against racism (e.g., Antifa, BLM, Critical Race Theory, Democrats:), etc.) does not mean that person favors Trump.

And, I'm sure you are aware the purpose of most of my posts in the politics forum is entertainment.

I said your posts are in lockstep with Trump's dogma, agree or disagree with my contention?

And sure, I'm aware that you like to veil your beliefs and opinions in humor and smileys; rather than just state them outright.

Here's what they think about us: https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/think-well/201206/think-sarcasm-is-funny-think-again ;)

Don't get me wrong, I use sarcasm in the same way sometimes; the difference is, I can admit it.

The problem with the action of the Texas Democratic legislators is that everyone else can copy it. This tactic can also be used against Democrats nationwide as well. The Texas Democrats have basically opened the floodgates.

It is ridiculous that when a minority party dislikes a bill they slink out of town so it is not passed. There will be many bills that a party does not like over time.... too bad... you need to accept that sometimes the majority party will have its way. If a bill is so "bad" that it is illegal or unconstitutional then you can turn to the courts for remedy; slinking out of town to avoid doing your paid duty is absurd.

Let's see who else will use the actions of Texas Democrats as a template...

Lindsey Graham says he'd 'leave town' to stop Democrats' reconciliation bill, citing Texas

Isn't this true for all dirty tactics? Mitch comes to mind with lame-duck confirmations. I'm sure you were as vocal then as well, no?

Any bet on which party has initiated the first of each type of dirty tactic?
Or on which party has committed the most dirty tactics?

Could this be a clue (goes to character)?

Maybe there are some doors republicans ought not open for debate.

rumor has it, a MAGGAT infected bug licked all surfaces on that plane

In all seriousness, we used to reward such patriots with purple hearts for risking body and limb in the defense of our constitution.

Presidential medals of freedom at the very least.
