A first, this morning I see that someone young enough I have met and chatted with briefly has died of Covid-19. He had been put in a medical coma, had a leg amputated (the blood thickening effect of corona causing clots I guess) and was facing a double lung transplant.

Broadway star Nick Cordero has died after a months-long battle with the coronavirus. He was 41.

Cordero, whose Broadway credits include Waitress and Rock of Ages, died on Sunday morning at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, where he had been hospitalized for over 90 days.

He is survived by his wife Amanda Kloots, whom he wed in September 2017, and their 1-year-old son Elvis Eduardo.

Kloots revealed on March 31 that her husband was in intensive care and “having a hard time breathing” after being diagnosed with pneumonia. Days later, the fitness trainer revealed that her husband was in “stable” condition, but that doctors were still confirming the cause of his health crisis. “Two negative COVID tests. Doctors are convinced though that it is COVID so they did a third test,” she wrote, adding that her husband was responding “well to the medication for COVID.”

His third test came back positive for coronavirus.

Although Cordero fell ill in early March, his symptoms were initially intermittent and didn’t seem to align with those frequently associated with COVID-19. “He could not get out of bed, so tired, no energy, that was really his only symptom,” she told BuzzFeed News at the time.

Posting I figured one of you boys would say this. The point being you are emotionally immature and pretty much an empty vessel.

The bandanas are so flimsy to provide any protection. It should be thick enough to provide some protection. I bought 3 pairs at Etsy of the denim mask with pouch for a filter. It took over 2 months but, I got some pm 2.5 filters from China thru Amazon. These are 5 layer filters to insert in those mask pouches. Hard to get those mask filters though. Still waiting on an order thru Amazon for 50 pcs more. If it gets to me, I will pay the seller, if not, I got my monies back. There are reports now that the Corona Virus can be transmitted thru someone sneezing or coughing in the air. Enclosed places like malls, cruise lines, airplanes, hospitals, restaurants, one should wear a mask. Then, take a hot shower when you get home to remove any virus droplets that might have adhered to your exposed skin. That should be enough to kill it.

  7. Yeah, BS12, just that one fatality. Along with Les Paul, who's rolling in his grave ever since you posted your new avatar.

    Empty vessel indeed:

Think again. Say hi to the love of your life, the one in the mirror. No way any woman ever really wanted you. Well unless it was a Maxwell and Epstein type affair, a pact.

I did not know the guy, just chatted at a resort but thinking of him in that sorry state.. Well he was loved and has some legacy.

  9. It may look like a fun-house mirror but, sadly, it's not.
