They weren't able to jump on the story that it was a justified shooting because the police was protecting another girl (the girl in Pink) as stated by those that certain Trump followers have been debating with the past year about other Political issues. Thus, they now want to change the narrative of the thread into another discussion. Same tactic used the past year even in the early months of the Pandemic when people realized the fuck up by the Trump / Pence administration about its Covid Response and crazy White House Covid briefings (e.g. inject bleach, praising doctor that talks about alien semen, democratic hoax, it will go away tomorrow, its under control, kung fu virus, manipulating CDC guidelines et cetera) along with the White House not able to protect those from Covid that worked at the WH... The individuals here at ET then quickly showed up to talk about Black crime rates in the Covid threads. I've seen them do it in other threads outside of the Political section with anti-minority commentary that has absolutely nothing to do with the trading threads / feedback threads /. They are especially bothered by the recent gains towards equality that minorities have been making; so they hijack threads with "statistics" that don't show cause and effect, only a result--but they claim the cause is skin color. Are you clued in yet? Every other datapoint says exactly the same thing. The staggering stat though is that Black men (aged 16-44) represent 4% of the US population but commit 50% of the murders! Systemic criminal behavior by Blacks is the biggest issue facing American Blacks.
And do you have any policy ideas to incentivize changing that behavior? Or will you cry about how any kind of affirmative action is unfair/racist/etc when we try to give black people more opportunities? Do you think it's right that our schools are funded mostly via local property taxes? Which schools are better funded in that case? Or is the status quo (which is the result of Jim Crow/segregation policies) cool with you?
