You are writing like everybody wakes up one morning and says "this is the day". The cops might, but the person in question has no clue. He may wake up like that everyday out of paranoia... but dude... ya let time do its thing... if he doesn't fucking leave the apartment... nothing is lost. This not that hard of a concept. Are you now going to explain to me the toilet flushing of evidence? Because if you are... I double rest my case... because if they can get it down a toilet... it's not worth using a swat team for god sake.
Most people know if there is a warrant out for them for a serious crime. You can even look that stuff up online.
Omg... Well no screamin' duckshit. There's probably 8 million outstanding warrants as I type. Each and every one of them never ventures out into the light of day? Right. Ok, I've given you too much credit here... I'm done, not arguing with someone who can't come up with better than that.
Then the guy doesn't understand the value of a stake-out, which is cheaper and safer than storming a castle? You wouldn't be point-man on a SWAT team if you just issued a standard warrant for arrest, and took the guy down out in the open. Hit him with a shitload of bean-bags and pepper-spray if you need to on the take-down outdoors. But you don't need to POP POP POP him with 9mm rounds while he is under a blanket while you are wearing body armor. It's BS.
Police can and do lie to get warrants. The worst that happens is the the cop who submitted the warrant is fired if caught.
Should be worse. If cops lie on a warrant and an innocent person is killed the cops who submitted the warrant should be convicted of murder.
