you need to stop relying on the president for any agenda you might have... laws are passed on Congress and most failures of agendas or plans cna be traced back to congress and poor leadership by the president only when they have control over the House/Senate. the progressive platforms pushed by Sanders and AOC have had no basis in reality or compromise so they had a snowball's chance in hell of ever being passed. to be fair are you really that shocked election promises of the far left were unable to pass?
If Biden gets a second term it tells democrats that its ok to run on funding the magatards and backing the blue.We don't really have democratic rule now.
It's easier to fix democracy from a quasi Democratic/oligarchical state than an authoritarian/fascistic one. There's no shortcut except violent revolution sadly.
It was Biden's agenda. If Bidens 2020 campaign was like his State of The Union speech I'd have no problem with him.Of course he wouldn't be President if he were giving his State of The Union speech during the campaign.
If thats the case we are going to be having republicans presidents for a long time. There are millions of progressive and black voters who have made the lifetime decision that they will stay home and accept a republican president rather than vote for a centrist /republican lite democrat. Its not a bluff, they did it in 2016.The only reason they came out in 2020 is because as you can see from my post above Biden ran the most progressive campaign of a major party nominee ever. Now that Biden has decided to go to center these voters will decide to go to their couch on election day.The number of these take a republican over a centrist democrat is growing,I have joined them.If you have read my post over the last 5 years or so you know I fucking hate republicans, but going forward I will vote for a Donald Trump,Ron Desantis or Ted Cruz over a Joe Biden,Kamala Harris or Hillery Clinton.
really depends on which republican is going to run and be the frontrunner... the GOP is in as much disarray as dems were on figuring out who should be the candidate. Voting in a president (GOP) who is literally opposed to all progessive platforms versus focusing on Congress where progressive policies are actually passed makes little to no sense.... biden did not go against your policies, he just didnt work to get them passed. That is a huge difference and going the other way to support someone who literally hates your policies seems like murder suicide. It also seems incredulous that your disappointment speaks for every minorty styaing home in the next election when they as a group have a perception of what happened when trump was elected. Also the minorty camp is still more concerned about Congress than anything else.
