Amusing.... Ever hear of the second amendment? The real question should be how to keep firearms out of the hands of mentally ill people.
Do we need to dig through these forums on who opposes mentally ill gun ownership legislation? Do I need to dig voting record and vetoes?
Amusing....Ever hear of The Constitution being amended or assault weapons being banned? The reason its not happening is because of Magatards fighting for mass murderers rights to get these weapons.
Nobody knew the guy was "mentally ill" upon arrival to the scene as the shooting was occurring. Simply, someone with experience in working with mentally ill individuals in distress along side of the police would not have been helpful. I could be wrong considering the police were able to get the shooter to surrender / capture...maybe someone that understands mentally illness was involved in that surrender. Another 10 souls lost to gun violence and its no different than tragedies in major cities, suburbs or rural although the latter happens less often. At the end of the day, I think the Pandemic has escalated shooting violence as the country slowly re-opens. Hopefully I'm wrong and there will not be anymore mass shootings this year. wrbtrader
His family has stated the shooter has been mentally ill for years. Intervention needs to happen to prevent the guy from acquiring a firearm long before he appears at a supermarket and murders ten people.
based on what the family's saying, I sure hope he stole that rifle, though LARPing w/body armor sadly points to no.
I just saw an interview on TV in which a state representative from Colorado stated they had a law that banned assault weapons but recently a judge struck it down as "unconstitutional". Now this mass shooting happens in Boulder...a city that averages one shooting per year in the past 9 years according to the rep. Simply, intervention must start with a law and then all the other stuff (support by those that deal with mentally ill) can follow. This story can only get worst if Colorado has no law that prevents mentally ill from purchasing assault weapons because other states does have laws against such. wrbtrader
