One thing we can all agree on is that an unarmed suspect should never be harmed while they're laying on the ground. Hopefully this guy will be charged and convicted.
He was definitely not surrendering. He surrendered only when he knew he had no where to run. He was being chased and didn't stop, that would enrage anybody, including the police.
I believe the Chinese military would shoot anyone trying to enter their 'Capitol'. I don't support death penalty, no. But I am trying to prove how soft the American police are towards it's citizens.
You support the cop kicking this guy but don’t support shooting tresspassers entering a government building armed with the intent of causing mayhem? it would happen at buckinham palace. Those guards aren’t for show. and to be clear you don’t support a cop shooting an armed trespasser but you support a cop beating an unarmed man who has surrendered. Or are your Asian comparisons actually irrelevant to the discussion because in a place like China, someone with your intellect would be working as a street sweeper.
He is an example of the mentality that will eventually lead to the final downfall of this country; as we have already been falling since Trump made selfishness, hate and racism OK to those already harboring such feelings.
Its 1984. The doublethink is incredible. My 8 yo daughter doesn’t argue this illogically. Nor did my 8 month pregnant wife.
Yes,he surrendered. When an ordinary citizen gets enraged and kicks somebody in the head they are charged with felony assault,so should a cop who kicks a surrendered suspect.
I believe @Market_Diver is saying that because the man, that volunteered to be a public servant, and swore an oath to serve and protect, and receives nice pay, security, and benefits, and is granted police powers and other perks, and paid training, is allowed to kick citizens in the head, multiple times, when he gets mad. This sort of 'logical' thinking has emerged from the closets after Trump and Fox News led the way.
