Dems won Senate races in Pennsylvania,Wisconsin,Michigan,Nevada,Virginia ,Minnesota ,Arizona and Ohio in 2018 and The House by 10 million votes.

The popular vote nor The EC is looking good for Trump in 2020

  3. That will be especially true if one of the identity politic types like Kamala Harris is the nominee. That way the non-thinkers can just identify the visual signs needed to check off their boxes. If semi-black and female and from california, then.....good to go. If Biden is the nominee, less so. Much less so.

Speaking of social media, I read something in a sidebar on some article this morning that makes me want to bend over and just kiss the country goodbye. As I have said before in the past, the long term lefty goal is to get online voting and then just develop an app for it. And I saw some reporting that said that a bill for online voting (Ruskies would love that,eh?) is being bandied about. I know that it is not coming soon, but a decade goes by pretty fast. Not good. I already live in a state that has mail-in voting - for everyone, not just absentee- where you can just have your cousin fill it out for you.

I don't assume that Trump is going to win. Almost all elections seem to be tighter than a bull's arse at fly-swatting time just because the country is so divided. I do think, though, that the dems have a flaccid line-up for candidates. The dems have a lot of voting power just because the demographics favor them, not because their candidates are worth shiite. All of us remember, right after the 2016 elections all the dems were saying they needed to get a better candidate for "next time." Then most of us smartasses would say "yeh, like Joe Biden or Bernie" and everyone would laugh. But now Joe Biden is being rolled out as a serious candidate because that's all they got, and the press is acting like he is new wine in an old bottle. Ahhh no. Make that old vinegar, in an old bottle.
