Idiots on ET and the nightly fake news are working hard to make sure people don't think Trump had anything to do with the vaccine when in fact Pfizer is part of operation warp speed they are part of a two billion dollar pre-order don't you think they have incentive to come up with a vaccine fast and first?!? I expect it from ET posters but my God the the fake news is already overdrive trying to protect their boy Biden from the great news that Trump made happen Trump defeats covid 19 that headline could never happen that would just be the end of the world apparently Assholes
The Pfizer vaccine must be stored at -70 degrees C. That's going to make distribution difficult. Too bad the Trump administration did not take any action to support or fund a cold distribution model --- like buying movable cold temperature freezers that can be trucked as part of the logistics. They have only urged private industry to "do it". You would have thought a "genius" like Trump and all the "best people" he hired would have planned for this.
I think you guys are getting a little heated over this Pfizer warp speed thingy. Take a break and do some shopping at Amazon, your best source for those early X-Mas gifts! It takes only two minutes! And seriously, when was the last time you heard an accordion in a commercial? Holiday spirit, with a polka flavor!
It was one of the most remarkable accomplishments in the history of medicine. There is no compare. Idiots here can't put politics aside. Trump was at the helm, and he deserves the credit. Good luck with that however. And GWB... private industry has stepped up. Look at what UPS did. https://www.usatoday.com/story/news...s-distribution-system-ready-nov-1/3413109001/ You don't think they would have asked for money if there was no bottom line profit in it for them? These companies are whores. Pandemic or not, they answer to the shareholders.
Nice spin, Pfizer took no money or any other government assistance. Your guy did nothing other than mislead on the virus for months. Can I take credit for something because I am going to buy in the future? Then I take credit for Tesla, it was me all along. "Pfizer is proud to be one of various vaccine manufacturers participating in Operation Warp Speed as a supplier of a potential COVID-19 vaccine," a Pfizer spokesperson said in a statement sent to Newsweek Monday afternoon. "While Pfizer did reach an advanced purchase agreement with the U.S. government, the company did not accept BARDA [Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority] funding for the research and development process," the statement continued.
Because they specifically said at the onset, they intended to make a profit off of this. That's how capitalism works Copernicus. Did the government give money to Zoom so people could stay home and work?! F no. Dude... you need to get a few more years of living under your belt before you can even hope to debate intelligently with me. Case closed.
So? Who is denying that? I don't get why a private company doing anything successful means that some shithead who downplayed the virus all along gets the credit. Why do we need a vaccine for something that was going to magically disappear during the summer? And? If Trump claimed credit for it, I would mock that as well. I hereby claim credit for all Tesla products because I am going to buy them in the future. Case closed. You sound pathetic, you lost, get over it.
I deserve credit too....I had as much to do with it as Trump... forget the medical teams at the private companies who are racing to come up with a vaccine to make billions
And this is coming from the same guy that gets on here 12 times per day and bloviates about how Trump ballooned the deficit by a few Trillion $'s. Hey... "lets buy sub-zero reefers and give them to UPS". Dude, I realize you don't live here... but christ almighty, get a supervisor to edit/proofread the logic behind your posts. You are like arguing with a bag of friggin dirt. I mean dumb. Your ability to analyze critically ranks up there with a first grader. Seriously. Case closed.
