New CDC report shows 94% of COVID-19 deaths in US had contributing conditions CORONAVIRUS by: fox8webcentral Posted: Aug 30, 2020 / 01:11 PM EDT / Updated: Aug 30, 2020 / 01:11 PM EDT Centers for Disease Control and Prevention released new data last week that depicts how many Americans who have died from COVID-19 also had other contributing conditions. According to the report, only 6% of deaths have COVID-19 as the only cause mentioned, revealing that 94% of patients who died from coronavirus also had other “health conditions and contributing causes.” Click here to read the CDC’s entire report The report reads in part: Table 3 shows the types of health conditions and contributing causes mentioned in conjunction with deaths involving coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). For 6% of the deaths, COVID-19 was the only cause mentioned. For deaths with conditions or causes in addition to COVID-19, on average, there were 2.6 additional conditions or causes per death. Table 3. Conditions contributing to deaths involving coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), by age group, United States. Week ending 2/1/2020 to 8/22/2020.* (Courtesy: CDC) The CDC listed the following as the top conditions contributing to deaths involving coronavirus disease: Influenza and pneumonia Respiratory failure Hypertensive disease Diabetes Vascular and unspecified dementia Cardiac Arrest Heart failure Renal failure Intentional and unintentional injury, poisoning and other adverse events Other medical conditions Global coronavirus cases now top 25 million, with US leading the count The CDC explains that their data uses provisional death counts to “deliver the most complete and accurate picture of lives lost to COVID-19.” These numbers are based on death certificates, which the organization says are the most reliable source of data. Death certificates reportedly contain information that is not available anywhere else and includes comorbid conditions, race and ethnicity, and place of death. Nevada man may be first documented COVID-19 reinfection case in US The CDC says provisional death counts may not match counts from other sources, such as numbers from county health departments, because death certificates take time to be completed, states report at different rates, it takes officials extra time to code COVID-19 deaths, and because other reporting systems use different definitions or methods for counting deaths. The organization adds that provisional data is not yet complete, provisional counts are not final and are subject to change, and that death counts should not be compared across states. I bet you not a single person would be reported as having contracted Corona Virus. Which comes to the question, is Corona Virus not that contagious disease they make it out to be? or It is a contagious disease but, extreme liberal media lying and hiding the extreme liberal idiot rioters who have gotten infected by Corona Virus? Pick one, it cannot be both. In the meantime, they have closed nail and hair salons where they have put barriers, wear masks, disinfected the chairs and work areas, there are few workers and customers so, there is in effect less risk compared to these mass riots? Again, more extreme liberal lies as Democrat governors continue their shutdown to damage the US economy. One more reason to re-elect President Donald Trump. These Democrat governors can deal with their rabid, mad as hell voters when they find, they do not have any jobs left.
https://www.lawfareblog.com/collusion-reading-diary-what-did-senate-intelligence-committee-find Let me think, a Senate report prepared by Republicans or some random ass tweet, which carries more weight? Dumb hilbilly, stop peddling crap, this isn't the inbred circle where such crap would work.
No, 6% died from ONLY Covid. The other 94% died from Covid AND other health issues. The 94% were still surviving life until they caught Covid. The virus pushed them over the edge. This happens all the time with people. They have a couple health issues then they get pneumonia or the flu or MRSA. And it’s too much. All those people listed that died HAD Covid-19. It is NOT saying only 6% DIED OF Covid-19. It is saying that 6% had ONLY Covid-19 and nothing else. In other words, 94% of those that died also had other comorbidities that made then susceptible to poor outcomes from the novel coronavirus. Get it? For example, obesity, diabetes, hypertension, malignancy are listed as comorbidities that contributed to their deaths - however they wouldn't have died without the novel coronavirus infecting them. Also, these numbers have been available since at least May 11 "Excess mortality" compares the total number of dead people (regardless of cause) to the average from the past few years, adjusted for population growth. It indicates how many people died that weren't expected to die under normal circumstances. Our current excess mortality for 2020 is over 210,000 according to the CDC.
Nobody should have to explain that to anyone. Things have gone to the dogs, the gap between normal people and the right retards has got too big here.
