Most of these jobs were lost because of government's poor response initially, look at how South Korea managed it.

Also the relief package and testing were poor causing delays and mass economic strife. 'Opening up' the economy without proper testing would cause a second wave that will make 14% look like a good thing.

The reality is that you as a party own the actions of the moron, there is no way semantics is going to save you.

If the US economy rebounds as expected or even does much better, that would make President Donald Trump's re-election that much easier. Even now, most people see President Donald Trump better equipped to deal with the Corona Virus and the economy. Democrats got nothing but, destroying their states economies but, that is a guaranteed winner right? I am sure the extreme liberal Democrats would love it very much to lose their jobs permanently, and pay much higher taxes?

  5. Sure you can. Had Trump acted sooner on the information he had, as did, say, South Korea, then the problem would have been better contained and would not have expanded to the crisis you see today.

  6. Say what?! Had the shut down occurred sooner and had the virus been taken seriously from the get-go, it would not have secured the foothold it now has over everyone, which it will continue to have for some time to come.

  7. You're delusional. Had the shutdown occurred earlier we'd be further along the path of economic destruction and unemployment would be higher than it is. Don't worry, you'll get your economic collapse shortly and then your team can rule over the ashes.Never should have shutdown at all. Few more dead among those who were on their way out anyway. All because your team can't find one, not one single candidate worth a shit. Pathetic.

and again, you fail to grasp how exponential growth works.

hey guise, S. Korea, Japan, Singapore, Taiwan, & China destroyed their economies worse than us by acting swiftly.

“The United States is facing a political and economic challenge like nothing it has seen in nearly 100 years,” the Washington Post reports.

“Mass unemployment on a scale not seen since the Great Depression has erased the economic gains of the past decade and now threatens to linger for years, fueling social discord and shaking an already polarized political system.”

“Almost overnight, it seems, the U.S. economy, which just two months ago boasted abundant jobs and soaring stock values, has become a shambles. Not since the government began collecting official data in 1948 has a smaller share of the U.S. population been employed.”
