Let's see what the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) stated regarding hydroxchloroquine in the past 24 hours. Located in New Delphi and funded by the government, the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), New Delhi, the apex body in India for the formulation, coordination and promotion of biomedical research, is one of the oldest medical research bodies in the world.

Keep in mind that India is one of the world's largest manufacturers of hydroxchloroquine and has to-date used it on the largest number of people experimentally for COVID-19.

I’ve been a proponent of HCQ with Zinc from the early beginnings of the Covid-19 pandemic, based in it’s decades of prior use and the science behind it as a zinc ionophore. All of this is discussed in length in the heath and fitness boards without the vitriol.

Liberal posters here politicized its use when Trump touted it.

There’s solid scientific evidence of its benefits when taken with zinc and prescribed by a doctor.

you were being a cheerleader for your Messiah on a medicine w/no prior use on a novel disease with absolutely no medical literature to back its efficacy. It's good that we have decent study showing promise, but won't hold my breath awaiting peer review.

Once the virus has attacked and severely damaged the body, requiring hospitalization, hydroxylchloroquine “with zinc” is not the primary treatment. It’s treating the body’s overreaction cykokine storm.

Mild to moderate cases, yes it will help reduce viral load, speeding recovery.

    As a prophylaxis, absolutely.

Try putting down your political blinders when talking about the drug. It has it’s place in the treatment and prevention of Covid19.

Only source of foreign internet propaganda in this conversation is you. ;)

The International Journal of Infectious Diseases (IJID) is published monthly by the International Society for Infectious Diseases. IJID is a peer-reviewed, open access journal and publishes original clinical and laboratory-based research, together with reports of clinical trials, reviews, and some case reports dealing with the epidemiology, clinical diagnosis, treatment, and control of infectious diseases with particular emphasis placed on those diseases that are most common in under-resourced countries.

Everything I said was linked to medical studies and/or medical professionals. Try again.

Talked about it long before Trumpy.

    All ready peer reviewed
