Made a lot of progress, but feel like there's so much more to go...

do you guys know of a good real-time gap scanner? I know there's trade-ideas. I've tried it briefly. It's expensive and too busy. Too many things to track. I'm using finviz.com(free version). But it's not quite real-time. I'll continue to test out finviz.

Please let me know any good ones free or paid ones. Thank you in advance.

Why not try out the paid version of finviz, it could work well, real-time for you since you are paying. Try that out first, else you'll keep looking for and none might satisfy you.

  4. Yea but useless difference... Would of got slightly more profits if I closed last week unless tomorrow explodes nicely, I am gonna exit before closing time tomorrow, Friday is notorious for US dollar going up, it's like clockwork

I'm so glad I got out all of my call options on Monday. Sure I could have waited til Tuesday and got slightly better prices. But waiting til today would have been a total disaster!

Now looking for my next play and setup...

  7. Yes there is something going on tho... Every Friday for some reason has been the same and predictable, only plays from now on are equities PUTs

With hindsight, when I exited my calls I should consider getting some puts. Those puts went up triple digits on Friday. LOL. Next time..

I think this where many would take the risk to just wait it out, especially when you have the feeling that things might just go well. But that's the difference between traders you know, some would just wait till Monday, but I like the choice you made. It's better to be safe than sorry!

My exit was driven by a reasoning and not just wait and see. The highs for my particular call options were 2.65. So I tried to exit from 2.10 to 2.55s.

When it started stalling and falling again , I decided to get out everything. The last bit around 2.18.

Always have to have an exit point in mind.
