Earlie GC went as high as 1292.70 but now it's back to 1290.60. From a % basis that's not much, but I was hoping more movement. The strange thing is dollar is down. If dollar is down then I would expect gold to be much higher. Too many manipulators in the gold market. I just need my call options to go up so more so I can unload the remaining at a nice profits. We'll see tomorrow. There might be a huge movement tomorrow as everyone is back.
I don't like the way GC is behaving.. I'm getting out a lot of my calls. I'm still up 13% overnight. But historically it should be up oodles more.
I got out all of my call options except for 3 left. I can't stomach this up then down then up and down. If it zooms higher between now and Friday then so be it.
Haha, I am going to the finish line brother... 1300 it is! It'll reach 1300 intra day soon, gotta catch it, I am a little worried about JP Morgan dick riding earnings tomorrow, even with decent losses in bonds they will post, they will have there desk buying back shares, like Citigroup did today. Wells Fargo gives me hope tho, they are gonna have a rough earnings considering how bad they screwed up Ill keep you posted
I sold at so many different prices that's it hard to say. Robinhood doesn't have good real-time analytics on P&L. But I would say roughly I made between 20%-85% gain across various prices. I don't know my average sell price. I'll have to wait til end of month to see my January 2019 statement. Robinhood only has monthly statements. Sad. IB has daily statements. But I'm saving a lot of money on commissions.
Since I started my full-time corporate job(see earlier portion of this thread), I now mostly swing trade. So there are long stretches where I just hold onto positions for weeks on end. Lately, I started adding a few special situation daytrades. Today, for example, I went in and out of PCG for a quick daytrade that netted decent amount. I'm sure with the right setup(tons of buying power) and technology(good scanner) I can definitely be more active in my daytrading now that I know how to trade significantly better than before.
