because Xmas time is coming, and you're a fellow trader and we know how trading challenges oneself, here are some cues you MIGHT want to reflect on: - what is the difference between surving and thriving? - why would one think of threat to survival, another opportunity to thrive if machines can do the jobs? - what type of dangerous, threatening life events might have allowed a person to understand the importance of survival? - what were the things lacking in a person's life history, for the person to find that survival is the most important thing?
Jobs? Who needs to work when a central bank can just print money and hand it out as universal income? jk Lions sleep and play the vast majority of the day. They hunt when needed. I like hunting on my own time too, if one is hungry enough, they'll hunt.
It needs do seriously, there is no way the planet can support our life style, so lose the life style or drop population by 75%+, I vote drop. I say wipe out all the big brother, xfactor watchers first that'll be a good start.
I agree, when I am in Russia I am always in shock when I see the unbelievable manipulation of the media. Especially when I go out and see the REAL Russia. This is real RUSSIA, but it is never shown on Russian TV. 84% of all wealth in Russia is in hands of a few billionaires. Except of these few billionaires the rest is poor or even very poor.
Since the first industrial revolution they tell this. And since the first industrial revolution we see more people working in better circumstances. So just the opposite of what people where afraid from. If robots take over the jobs, for who will they produce if 50% of the population has no job which means no money?
Ah, yes, the Oligarchs! I read, years ago, that Prokhorov, owner of the New Jersey Nets, got control of Nickel Norilisk or whatever natural resource he pilfered for $200M when it was already valued at $3B of which he cashed out $15B-$20B, before the commodities crash, years later. I wish I could get a company for 10% of its value and sell for many multiples.lol Then again Putin has probably pilfered Russia, most of all, his mega mansion he built is unbelievable with no expense spared. As for the topic, humans have always adapted to technological evolution but damn if this planet doesn't have way too many people.
That`s unfortunately, true. We are in line with Zimbabwe by many parameters.Slave genes don`t let people to protest.Black folks kn America probably have less slave genes then here white russian people. It is what it is.
imo: I think, Say, the US sooner or later would have to change the current taxation system under a robots-driven economy world. Consumption tax such as VAT or GST would be the first step. After that, probably there could be a new "Production-value tax" - PVAT based on every individual robot's production/service value. The PVAT will be paid by the owner of the robots. An owner can be a corporations for business activities, or individuals for domestic services. Then everybody just enjoys life according to the type of robots for their production values that an owner invest in! Every one will be subsided by the government to own at least (say) two robots of her/his choice during her/his life span, of which one will be for domestic services, another for manufacturing works , sitting/working in a retail shop, restaurant, taxi/courier, nursing home, factory (for producing robots or anything else), etc. in order to earn incomes. That could be the AI-driven world in the future! Just 2 cents!
