  3. The usual bumpy ride as expected... Impatient (fearful?) maddening DRYS (In at 99 with 105 target, sold 97..) and GNK (In at 76 with 79 target, sold 73) trades yesterday and today causing me to make back for the remainder of the week. Currently short Builders (TOL, RYL, Long SRS), Fertilizers (TRA), and GLS.

Builders I should have had short 3 days ago per XHB Chart attached. Textbook bounce to kiss 2 trendlines!!!. Lack of focus.

As known everywhere DOW broke Horizontal and ascending trendlines today. If you are not short already, a bounce back to 12,750 should be the trade of the next few weeks. Bounce likely as SP did not break yet.

  4. Covered RYL and TOL. Both close to support, have lost a lot, and with probable bounce to low 12,700's can re-short later. Also sold SRS.. break of 89 (or) dip will re-buy. Still short GLS and TRA.

Shippers massacred today... Looking to play DRYS bounce from 90 area probably with Calls.. Should see high 90's/102's, at which point will be shorting as MACD heading down though it may build it's top for a while. Same play for TBSI and GNK.

Solars also for shorting though not many short shares around. SOLF and STP the targets..

  5. Perhaps I need to reduce my stock list as I am feeling the Master of None Feeling. Since I trade both directions, a dozen clean stocks with high volume "should" do.. Always something to improve.. By and Large not enough fortitude between my ears.

Missed all the great volatility this week.. Currently geared for a bounce next week.

  7. This is THE best example of why results have been underwhelming lately... A Trigger trade planned objectively days ago is uprooted 5 minutes after it executed for reasons I must find to continue on schedule.. It has occurred enough to have denied a 25% account gain last 3 weeks.. The solution obviously is to remove the emotional human by reducing market watching... Another would be to disallow daytrades NO MATTER WHAT but then again I am fighting with me. I am THAT close to doing something REALLY special here..

This must not repeat itself.. inexcusable.

  9. Well.. Thanks...

On with my scolding... It seems a good deal of objective smarts trades are the very trades the emotional, losing, 9 out of 10 traders CANNOT make. Painful as it may be, I may have to delete the "reversal" scans (though potentially more profitable that the Break scans). They cause stress as they almost always don't reverse immediately though they eventually do. THE only way to keep them is to take the trade, set a loose stop and ABSOLUTELY not watch the position.. OR take only 1/2 positions with the reversal scans.

    May 20th...
I was "managing" the DRYS Long position at 99.5 when the LEH trade filled and didn't want to deal with another "headache" so I killed the LEH trade to focus on DRYS.. Of course later killed DRYS at 97 and change (went to 106 24 hours later as expected). Ultimately lost great profits in both trades..

Question for Today is "How are you going to plan for tomorrow?" So you can remove the need (though imagined) to baby-sit positions.

  10. Can you explain your setups. What exactly are you looking for prior to entering a trade?

    thanks
