ok on the chart you will see that price went to a new high but the rsi did not siganl 1 2. stos crossed heding down sign 2 3 macd crossed and headed down sinal 3 hopr it helps
Here is daily spx intraday. I am wondering if the PARS will reverse on the 40 ma. RSI above 50. The MACD still holding....end of quarter pump? Down next Tuesday? http://share.esignal.com/groupcontents.jsp?folder=&picture=0626spx_daily.png&groupid=14 ~j
It's obvious MACD works.....the questions most traders ask: Is it real, I see it, everyone else see's it.....will it happen? I think you do what the chart suggests.....fighting the chart has always cost me. I didn't believe the SP pump would continue....well the liquidity continues. http://share.esignal.com/groupcontents.jsp?folder=&picture=0707spx.png&groupid=14 The MACD on this 60min chart suggests the move not over? Yes, I believe the market is overbot...does that mean anything?
Quote from dgabriel: Depends on settings - for RSI and Stoch. Both can be set for sensitive response or slow response. Quote from Hubert, ok on the chart you will see that price went to a new high but the rsi did not siganl 1 2. stos crossed heding down sign 2 3 macd crossed and headed down sinal 3 hopr it helps It sure does and thank you for the trouble. I was wondering if you have specific time periods ( Number of Look Back Bars ) that you prefer for 60 Minute and Daily Charts for all 3 Indicators?
Hi Jeffrey3, Yes, here's update....the parabolic signaled then reversed with the pump at close. We got another reversal today. This market needs to rollover. IMO Yes, if the MACD is going sideways the trend continues....same goes for stochs. RSI crossing 50....good signal http://share.esignal.com/groupcontents.jsp?folder=&picture=0709spx.png&groupid=14 Thanks for the reply, ~j
I had problems accessing the site yesterday. We seem to be consolidating a little since the market goes down one day and up the next. I suppose once earnings season is over we finally retrace? I know I'm not feeling the economy pick-up. We definitely tested the upside here, for a little while anyway. http://share.esignal.com/groupcontents.jsp?folder=MACD&picture=0712indu.png&groupid=225 http://share.esignal.com/groupcontents.jsp?folder=MACD&picture=0712indu30.png&groupid=225 update http://forum.esignal.com/showthread.php?s=&postid=13360#post13360
Volume light at open.....looks overbot in front of earnings....how much more can there be? If stochastics go sideways here that's good? http://share.esignal.com/groupcontents.jsp?folder=&picture=0715intc.png&groupid=225
I know it's earnings tonight......profit takers aren't stupid.<g> http://share.esignal.com/groupcontents.jsp?folder=MACD&picture=0715intc2.png&groupid=225
Momentum has sustained the trend in the NAS so far... The MACD and Stochastics are up. 2003 should go in the books as Bullish. NAS http://share.esignal.com/groupcontents.jsp?folder=&picture=0908nas.png&groupid=225
