0 line cross, by itself, is a royalty free event.

I am adding a set of rules totaly independant of any of the rules stated in the SPM thread. The rules I am using can be found in many trade sources that can be found on the Net for free.

This is my thread for ME :)

  5. Trader28,

Ok...Your set-up and mine are exactly the same!!!

Except that I also use the bollinger bands just to see if the
candle's (price bars) are breaking to the outside of the
    bollinger bands.

I also use the 3SMA +2 early entry.

I do agree with you in that the "SPM" is not only the "holy grail"
it just might be the only grail that I have ever found. And I've
played with different settings for years.

I have no problem with you or your "SPM" at all. As a matter of fact of all the idea's here at "ET" I've learned the most from reading the whole post (all 400 + pages of SPM) and made the
most money from it. I would recommend that other "ET posters"
spend the time to read the "whole SPM" and maybe they will become profitable, like I did.

    Thanks Again, T28...

  6. So it seems there are people who do not know how to calculate the MACD but are trying to explain a strategy based on it. A simple two MA crossovers strategy at that.

At least it helps to clarify who the high school dropouts in this thread are.

  8. Apparently not everybody does, that's why they do not seem to be able to interpret it very well. MACD is a derivative of a 12 and 26 period MA. A cross of the zero line is the same thing as a 12 26 MA crossover. You saying it isn't?

If it comes down to this MACD method or Spydertrader's Hershey method I give the edge to the latter. It was profitable while I was looking at it. So run along now and attempt to decipher Hershey's doublespeak and separate the grain from the chaff if you can. Considering your level of expertise with MACD, however, I get the feeling it may prove beyond your ken and that of your alter ego.

Oh please.. I have a profitable method that makes me a fortune.. I've never wasted my time on Jack's poorly formed NLP.. I'm not a sucker that needs to be told there is a method out there that never takes a loss while reaping 3 times the daily range.. that shit is for suckers like you.. the fact that you are in his room tells me you are still looking to be profitable.. ie: the markets bitch

As for the MACD zero line the proof of the pudding is in the eating.. crosses to the upside above the zero line roar like a bull compared to those below the zero line and vice versa for shorts.. If you understood market psychology and why certain indicators work the way they do you would know it has precious little to do with the formula.. Are you stupid enough to believe the pivot formula is what creates supp/res levels? If you had done any study instead of searching for a perfect system that will allow your weak psychology to pull the trigger you'd know that and would have profited from it by now.. how did you ever dodge the dinosaur killing comet? :p
